Ecofont?
The Premise: this new ecofont has tiny drilled holes throughout each letter that will hypothetically save half the ink that would usually be used... hmmmm interesting?
It's free for download so go for it I suppose? At worst it's an interesting idea!

interestingly enough, making the font 3/4 its original height and 3/4 its original width would essentially do the same thing, but produce a much more readable font. also, to produce the dots on the letters requires more energy exerted by the printer in order to recreate the image. i'd stick with my currently favorite font: cicle.

...But why not print at 3/4 the original height and 3/4 the original size using the ecofont? At that size, the ink would be more likely to bleed, and the holes would more likely go unnoticed... Save EVEN MORE ink, which is the point the developers were making- the ink, not the energy. Maybe cicle comes in eco-cicle. Now I'm going to go blow dry my hair, then straighten it, then curl it, and when I'm done, I'm going to leave all that shit plugged in, WHAT UP
