Projections = Urban Art

I was browsing through wooster collective, when I found this special on projections as the new street art. Some are just visually pleasing and have some underlying meanings, but other like the one above make an outright attempt to make some social commentary. Here the artist Ivan based in Miami has this little boy saying "WOW! How much did this cost? Looks nice, can me and a couple hundred of my homeless friends live in it?" obviously commenting on gentrification. Like other street artists, Ivan was chased down by the popo and told to stop his projections... which weren't "art".
